Heatwave Furnace specializes in the manufacturing and export of high-quality bell annealing furnaces, designed for various heat treatment processes such as cementation, carbonitriding, quenching, annealing, and normalizing.
We have successfully delivered numerous bell annealing furnaces to clients across Dubai and Riyadh, and possess in-depth knowledge of the ideal specifications required for diverse industrial applications in these regions.
Bell-type annealing furnaces are primarily used for the recrystallization of coils after the rolling process. Each system consists of an annealing base and a movable bell-type furnace.
The process involves multiple stages:
- Loading: Coils are tilted and placed onto the annealing base, typically stacked three to five high.
- Sealing: The coil stack is sealed and covered, after which the bell furnace is lowered over it.
- Annealing: The process occurs in a controlled atmosphere, with a base fan circulating protective nitrogen gas throughout the system.
- Cooling: After the annealing cycle, the heating hood is replaced with a cooling hood for gradual and controlled cooling.
- Unloading: Coils are then removed using a coil tilter and transferred via a transfer car.
Applications
Our bell annealing furnaces are suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
- Black and bright annealing of steel strips
- Annealing and spheroidizing of steel wire
- Normalizing and stress relieving of steel castings
- Annealing of copper and aluminum products
- Decarburizing of stampings
Furnace Structure
Each furnace is engineered for efficiency, reliability, and ease of operation, comprising:
- Base, diffuser, and plenum with a high-performance fan positioned between the base and diffuser
- Inner cover and inner jacket: The inner cover fully encloses the system, while the jacket separates the charge area from the heating zone
- Cooling cover for rapid and controlled post-annealing cooling
