Heatwave Furnace designs, manufactures, and exports Bogie Hearth Furnaces ideal for the heat treatment of large and heavy components. Engineered to operate at temperatures up to 1150°C, these furnaces can be powered by natural gas, LPG, oil combustion systems, or electricity—offering flexibility for various industrial needs.

We have successfully delivered Bogie Hearth Furnaces across India, with a deep understanding of the most suitable specifications for a wide range of industries. We also cater to growing industrial requirements in India, providing robust, efficient solutions.

Functionality and Process

Our Bogie Hearth Furnaces are specifically designed for the heat treatment of heavy steel parts. The temperature and atmospheric conditions can be customized based on specific processes such as:

  • Tempering
  • Annealing
  • Soft annealing
  • Normalizing
  • Stress relieving
  • Homogenizing
  • Recrystallization

Operating temperatures range from 250°C to 1150°C, depending on the application.

Loading and Unloading:

  • Components are loaded onto the bogie outside the furnace using a forklift or overhead crane.
  • Typically, the load is cooled inside the furnace before being removed.
  • For special processes, the furnace can be designed to allow quenching or unloading while still hot, improving turnaround time and process flexibility.

Applications

Our Bogie Hearth Furnaces are ideal for:

  • Stress relieving of cylinders and pressure vessels
  • Heat treatment of forgings and castings
  • Annealing of large components
  • Homogenizing and ageing treatments
  • Controlled heat treatments with defined heating and cooling rates
